At Bond No. 9, we are not simply perfumers; we are innovators. We introduced the world’s first city-centric, New York–centric fragrance collection. We created the first civic-minded eau de parfum, our beloved and best-selling Scent of Peace. We developed the first banking-inspired fragrance, Wall Street. And now, for those moments when a fresh wardrobe is in order, we present the first-ever shopping scent.
After all, who does not love new clothes? Consider this a shopping aphrodisiac, designed to heighten the pleasure of browsing fashion’s most alluring boutiques. And where better to do that than along Madison Avenue, between 57th and 96th Streets, where block after block of legendary fashion houses unfolds. Mansions, townhouses, brownstones, and jewel-box boutiques line this storied stretch, including our own Bond No. 9 satellite at Madison and 72nd Street. Naturally, we named our newest creation Madison Avenue.
This fragrance is designed with daytime in mind. One spray awakens the fashion instinct and transports you to style-shopping bliss. The composition is a fresh chypre, a citrusy, woody, mossy structure long favored by fashion insiders and prized for its unmistakable couture signature.
The opening sparkles with crisp apple, bright bergamot, and tangy, raisin-like blackberry, instantly lifting the mood and energizing the senses. At its heart, a luxurious floral bouquet unfolds, featuring roses as rich as silk charmeuse, jasmine with the luminous texture of shantung, and magnolia as smooth as satin. The base provides lasting presence through the afternoon, with earthy patchouli, a creamy and indulgent praline accord, and ambroxan, a modern interpretation of ambergris that allows the fragrance’s many facets to resonate beautifully.
Madison Avenue is not just a scent; it is the essence of fashion-forward New York, captured in a bottle.
