With Sutton Place, Bond No. 9 presents the world’s first diplomatic eau de parfum. Appropriately, this fragrance could only be born in New York City, home to the United Nations and a global crossroads of diplomacy. Sutton Place itself is a discreet six block enclave tucked between the 59th Street Bridge and the United Nations headquarters. Established in the late nineteenth century, the neighborhood has long been associated with refinement, privacy, and international influence. Today it is home to ambassadors, diplomatic missions, and the official residence of the United Nations Secretary General, giving the area a quietly powerful global presence.

Reflecting the confidence and authority traditionally associated with international diplomacy, Sutton Place is designed with a distinctly masculine character. The fragrance opens with a vibrant and sophisticated blend of bergamot and tangerine layered with pink pepper, cassis, and tropical pineapple, creating a dynamic and memorable introduction.

At its heart, an assertive floral composition emerges, where jasmine and lily intertwine with rich patchouli to add depth and intensity. The fragrance settles into a commanding base of amber, musk, and leather, softened by a subtle touch of vanilla.
