Wearing it now. Loooove this scent so much! I'm a born and bred New Yorker. I can't tell you how many times, over the years, I've walked that stretch of the city and I did not know until researching this scent, that it was nicknamed "gold coast"!! The notes in this scent easily remind me of Battery Park. When I worked in lower Manhattan, I'd often have lunch in Battery Park. The aquatic note reminds me of the Hudson River that the park sits on. The watermelon note reminds me of the many people (including myself) having lunch or tourists sightseeing or relaxing while eating fresh, ripe, sweet, delicious watermelon chunks sold by one of the many fruit vendors in and around the battery park. The rose reminds me of the beautiful flowers within the park. I love you, Bond No. 9. I love that many of your scents are named after places in NY! But, not naming this particular scent Battery Park was a missed opportunity, in my humble opinion. Aside from that, *chef's kiss*! I love a handful of Bond scents and this is without a doubt, my favorite!! I just call it Battery Park, lol.

I'm about to break one of my rules for this scent. I usually wear a spring/summer scent and then a fall/winter scent. This year, I've been wearing Liberty Island for my summer and I have Chinatown waiting in the wings for when the weather cools off. But Gold Coast...!!! It definitely smells like a spring/summer scent to me but I want to wear it all year round! It smells so fresh. I love the watermelon and I think that's what lightens up the rose which I'm not usually a fan of. I believe I've found my signature scent!
