“We had to do Greenwich Village,” says Bond No. 9 founder and president Laurice Rahme. “It’s incredibly rich in culture. I was thinking about painters and musicians, the jazz clubs and chess cafés I frequented in the seventies when I first arrived in New York. The Village has a closeness to it. It’s genuine.”

The composition reflects that eclectic spirit through a confident, expressive structure. Bright top notes of cassis, lychee, and mandarin introduce a vivid opening, followed by a fresh floral heart of peony, white florals, and jasmine petals. The base unfolds into a warm, textured blend of ambrox, peach musk, vanilla, oakmoss, and praline, creating an oriental vanilla profile softened by light florality.
