The Legacy of Our Beloved City

Bond No. 9’s own heritage is the inspiration behind New York Forever. The brand opened its doors at 9 Bond Street between Broadway and Lafayette in 2003, when founder Laurice Rahmé launched her vision to create sumptuous fragrances inspired by the beauty, creativity, and resilience of New York City.

“When we opened, our downtown street was a very different story than today,” Rahmé notes. “For example, our store faced a gas station. Now, the property is a chic condo building where supermodels live. I think that says it all.”

Today, Bond No. 9 stands as New York City’s most iconic fragrance house, with stand-alone boutiques across the city and Miami, and a globally recognized luxury presence in doors around the world. With 89 fragrances, along with lipsticks, ancillaries, and candles, New York Forever represents the culmination of the brand’s enduring devotion to NYC after two decades of creative expression.
